Transforming Healthcare TogetherAs a Clinical Director for Patient Care at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our patients. This role requires a registered nurse with strong clinical expertise and leadership skills to provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting. You will foster patient/family centered care, demonstrating clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices/research in all areas of the nursing process.Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient care needs, developing individual plans of care based on patient assessment and other data as appropriate.
• Provide direct care to assigned patients, performing specific tasks based on organizational, departmental, and unit policies and procedures within the RN scope of practice.
• Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate to members of the healthcare team, developing written assignments and ensuring completion of assigned tasks.
• Monitor quality of care delivered on a continual basis, ensuring appropriate surveillance of assigned patients.
• Evaluate plan of care for effectiveness, documenting progress toward expected outcomes and revising the plan as needed.Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
• One year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency from another organization.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
