Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager Assistant to join our team at Prisma Health. In this role, you will collaborate with the nurse manager to supervise staff and unit operations, providing direct patient care and ensuring safe and quality patient care on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and unit operations to ensure safe and quality patient care
• Provide direct patient care consistent with the charge nurse/clinical registered nurse job description accountabilities
• Maintain all clinical competencies outlined
• Perform a variety of administrative and quality management activities to ensure quality expectations and regulatory requirements are met
• Collaborate with the nurse manager to interview, hire, evaluate, coach, counsel, staff round and perform management of unit staff
• Assist the nurse manager in maintaining unit budget by appropriate allocation and utilization of unit resources
• Develop, submit, implement and evaluate performance objectives for self and unit
• Perform other duties as assigned
  Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Two (2) years of RN experience in appropriate area of nursing. Management/supervisory experience preferred
