You will demonstrate clinical competency by utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.Key Responsibilities

• Assessment: Collect data and complete nursing assessments utilizing appropriate area and/or age-specific standards/policies and tools. Assess and recognize subtle or actual changes in patients' conditions and patient responses to interventions.
• Planning & Outcomes: Develop an age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, individualized plan of care that reflects current evidence-based practice, the assessed needs of the patient/family, and addresses continuity of care. Make appropriate referrals based on assessment, and develop the plan in collaboration with the patient/family, physician, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Implementation: Provide direct care to assigned patients in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, consistent with the established plan of care and identified patient priorities. Delegates nursing tasks as appropriate to members of the healthcare team, develops written assignments, and ensures completion of assigned tasks.
• Evaluation: Based on assessment/reassessment of patient response to interventions, evaluate the plan of care for effectiveness, document progress toward expected outcomes, and revise the plan of care as needed.RequirementsWe require an Associate's Degree in Nursing and one year of experience in Nursing as a Registered Nurse. In lieu of 1 year of registered nurse experience, we will accept successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program. You must be a SC Licensed RN - Registered Nurse.Work EnvironmentThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
