• Certification Details
• ACLS required for designated units and for RRTs/CRTs
• BLS required for all RNs and specified allied professions
• PALS required for ER, Pediatrics, and PICU and applicable RRTs/CRTs
• NRP required for L&D, NICU, Post Partum, Nursery RNs, and appropriate RRTs/CRTs
• CHEMO preferred for Oncology
• EFM required for L&D RNs
• TNCC, CPI, Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required as applicable by Profession
• State License verification
• NURSYS Verification required
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred for applicable units
  • Job Details
  • Medical Specialties is a 57 max capacity unit servicing internal medicine patients with a wide range of medical diagnosis. Room amenities range from video monitoring capability, sitter rooms (up to 4 and 2 patients), ceiling lifts, and bariatric rooms. There is a charge nurse & supervisor on every shift.
  • Required to float to MS and MS/Tele.
  • The average ratios for our floor is 1:5 for days and 1:6 for nights; however, our day shifters do have to go up to 6 at times and our nights shifters at 7.
  • Prefer 2 years, but willing to consider 1.5 years of M/S experience for quality candidates.
  • Work 50% of holidays that fall within contract. RTO not granted for holidays but will work with traveler on which holidays they want to work to meet their 50% requirement.
  • Will accept first time travelers!
