Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cath Lab RN Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: NC or Compact license required at time of start Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Circulate - Conscious Sedation - IV Start - Pulmonary Artery Lines - Scrubbing - Telemetry - Structural Heart & TAVR Experience - Cath Lab Procedure Experience including Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader Job Description: - Perform complex procedures such as Complex PCI, Laser Atherectomy, Peripheral Vascular Interventions, PFO/ASD closures, EKOS, Impella, IABP. - Ensure the safety and care of patients in a Cath Lab environment. - Work with unit systems such as PYXIS, EPIC, and MAC Lab. - Maintain high levels of collaboration and communication within a multidisciplinary team. - Work required shifts, including call and weekend call requirements. - Possess skills in EKG settings & experience in rhythm interpretation. - Provide documentation and support as required by unit systems. - Float to other units based on skills and census needs, with occasional responsibilities in a patient holding area within the Cath Lab. - Complete non-billable modules annually as required by specialty. - Abide by clinic policies, including fatigue policies limiting more than 5 consecutive days of work or 60 hours per week. - Participate in a mandatory 8-hour orientation. - Comply with vaccine requirements, noting that the COVID-19 vaccine is not required but the flu vaccine is, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons. - Scrub uniforms are provided. Additional Information: - First-time travelers are accepted. - There is a call and potential to float to adjacent units. - Weekend work is required with callback provisions. - Interview availability must be provided within 72 hours.
