• Preferred certifications include CCRN, TNCC, and CPI.

  • Registered Nurse position with Novant Health.
  • Facility: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
  • Normal patient population includes intermediate neurological patients along with medical intermediate patients.
  • Average daily unit census maxes at 24 patients.
  • The role requires floating to other intermediate areas and critical care.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of experience.
    • Neuro experience preferred; if limited, document at the end of the summary note.
    • First-time travelers accepted.
    • Skills required: Telemetry, Vents, IV Start, Drips.
    • Shift: 36 hours offered, 12-hour nights from 18:45 - 07:15.
    • Maximum of 7 days for RTO (Request Time Off).
    • Float requirement includes floating to intermediate areas and critical care.
    • Weekend requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, totaling 6 weekend shifts.
      • Schedule Information
      • Self-schedule system, balanced/approved by staffer.
      • 36-hour weeks can be offered.
      • 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 - 07:15.
      • Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop).
      • Weekend requirement is 3 weekends every 6 weeks, totaling 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sundays.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit specifics include an 'Intermediate population' sub-specialized with neurological and medical intermediate patients.
        • Average Daily Census maxes at 24 patients.
        • Ratios: 1:4.
          • Additional Details
          • RTO after booking is NOT allowed.
          • Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a Cancel and DNR status.
          • Telemetry, Vents, IV Start, Drips skills required.
