Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with Epic and Medical/Surgical Job Description: - Work within the Medical/Surgical unit, focusing on patient care and management. - Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios ranging from 1:6-7. - Participate in a holiday rotation. - Work every other weekend as required. - Stay informed about the possibility of hurricanes during their season, with awareness that all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams. - Complete mandatory pre-start modules, averaging 4 hours, as part of orientation. - Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours to integrate seamlessly into the facility. - Adhere to the facility's scrub color requirements of Ceil Blue or Navy. - Follow all facility guidelines and requirements regarding non-billable orientation and module completion.
