Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical - Med/Surg Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with Epic and Med/Surg Job Description: - Responsible for managing patient care in a Med/Surg unit. - Maintain patient care ratios of 1:6-7. - Work every other weekend; no on-call requirements. - Will not be required to float to other units or sister facilities. - Able to participate in holiday rotations. - Open to block scheduling upon approval, though not guaranteed. - Adherence to facility---s guidelines for requesting time-off; all requests must be submitted during the initial submission. - Compliance with pre-start requirements and modules before starting. - Must be aware of the potential for assignments in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November). Ensure that all vaccines, except for COVID-19, are up to date with medical or religious exemptions available for the flu vaccine. Orientation includes non-billable hours. Module hours should be completed pre-start. Must follow protocols to acquire a South Carolina RN License promptly if not already in possession.
