Now hiring a qualified LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse with Corrections, Psychiatric, ED, or Med/Surg nursing experience in Monroe, North Carolina.

Corrections LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Pay:

$1,368 - $1,460 working 36 hours
$1,368 - $1,560 working 40 hours
Local and travel pay packages available.
Weekly Direct Deposit Every Friday.

Plus Travel Bonus to the assignment.

Schedule and Timeline:

13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.
8 hour shifts (40 hours per week) available to choose from with potential to pick up OT.
12 hour shifts (36 hours per week) available to choose from with potential to pick up OT.

Corrections LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Job Details:

Examine patients in the correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress.
Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and when necessary, refer them to appropriate mental health resources.
Assisting the Physician/RN with exams and treatments.
Sick call with a Physician to see inmates.
Prep inmates to be examined/prep exam room and equipment.
Pill pass, dispensing medications, and required documentation.
Control medications and syringes in inventory as required.

Corrections LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

1+ years of psych, corrections, ER, or med/surg nursing experience.
NC or multistate LPN License in good standing.
Active BLS.
Clean background check upon hire.
