Credentialing and Privileging Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Credentialing, Privileging, and Onboarding Specialist to support a project at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform credentialing and privileging tasks, including enrollment and primary source verifications
Assist with the privileging process and ensure compliance with VA Medical Staff Bylaws
Support onboarding processes and coordinate submission of VA staff onboarding documentation

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of relevant experience as a credentialing and privileging specialist within the VHA
Current CPCS and/or CPMSM certification from NAMSS
Experience in federal contracting, particularly with the Department of Veterans Affairs
Knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws and compliance with state and federal regulations
