About the Role
Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiographic, fluoroscopic, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with minimal supervision under the direction of a Radiologist.
  
• Coordinate daily activities, including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
  
• Document patient history and prepares requisitions for procedures.
  
• Ensure patient identification and confirm proof of identity.
  
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
  
• Consult with Radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
  
• Operate equipment and maintain accurate records.
  
  Requirements
  
  • Successful completion of a formal Radiology Technology Program in an AMA-approved facility.
    
  • Registration by the ARRT or eligibility and registration within 1 year of hire date.
    
  • 1 year of direct patient care work experience preferred.
    
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
