Chemical Operator Job Opportunity in Monroe!

Join our dynamic Monroe Operations Plant as a Chemical Operator responsible for producing bulk batches of products and maintaining essential manufacturing equipment. You will ensure plant efficiency, quality, and safety while supporting production operations and troubleshooting machinery. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in improving operations and maintaining safety protocols.

• Schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
    • Strong math skills for calculating percentages and ratios
    • Troubleshooting skills for daily operations
    • Preventative maintenance experience is a plus
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or squat for long periods Key Responsibilities
      • Operate and maintain chemical manufacturing equipment
      • Follow SOPs for automatic and manual batch building
      • Produce waterborne and solvent-based finishes, sealers, and stains
      • Troubleshoot and maintain machinery using hand and power tools
      • Maintain raw material levels and perform inventory data entry
      • Operate forklifts for material movement
      • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
      • Contribute to safety and quality system improvements
      • Additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements
        • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
        • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
        • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats
