Job Description:
Ameritruck is seeking an organized individual to assist the
logistics manager in managing purchased inventory and handling any
issues in transit. This person would reach out to locations upon
purchase to inquire about status, keep track of all inventory until
it reaches its destination, and keep customers up to date on status
and resolutions.
Responsibilities:
--- Contact locations upon purchase to determine if ready for
pickup
--- Coordinate releases for drivers
--- Keep track of all outstanding inventory, including location,
status, etc
--- Manage equipment issues/filing of claims
--- Keep customers/logistics manager up to date on the status of
trucks in transit and any issues that may arise
Qualifications:
--- Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a strong
plus
--- Strong organizational and time management skills
--- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
--- Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently
